i have so so so much respect for you to have picked up on how unhealthy this was getting for you! i've found with other questionable coping mechanisms of my own that i resisted changing them because i didn't know how else to fill the void it'd leave even if i knew it'd be much better to let go and address the root of it all instead so knowing how it feels i think it's really cool that you were able to be honest with yourself like that—and that you had fun creating your alternative!

if you ever do come to a place where you think you don't have any more use for your pcs and that they'd be better off in hands that really want them you can always sell your remaining ones too but i think it's very valid to be attached to the ones you like and would like to stick with! collecting can be fun and it's a legitimate hobby and if you can go on and have it be financially feasible there's absolutely nothing wrong with continuing to do so in a capacity that works for you!
